Enrolling at Bairnsdale Kindergarten
The opportunity to enrol your child at Bairnsdale Kindergarten is available at all times.
Enrolment may be for :
A Pre-Kindergarten group : Runs on Wednesdays only
A Kindergarten group: Full or part times options are available
Dual enrolment for both Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten in consecutive years.
To be eligible:
Kindergarten:
A child must turn 4 years of age before the 30th April in the year enrolment is sought.
Pre- Kindergarten:
A child must turn 3 before the 30th April in the year enrolment is sought and have turned 3 before commencement.
Please note:
If any Pre-Kindergarten vacancies exist after 30th April, parents of children born after this date may apply to the Committee of Management to fill the remaining places.
These children must have turned three years of age by commencement and will not be eligible for Kindergarten the following year.
Proof of age must accompany the application
Applications will NOT be processed unless this proof of age is provided.
For the enrolment process to be completed a parent must:

Complete an application form

Provide proof of age (eg, birth certificate)

Provide a current Immunisation History Statement

Choose a group or session preference
All applications must be completed by the parent or a parent representative.
NO TELEPHONE APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED
A waiting list will be introduced if applications exceed places available.
