Our Programs

Bairnsdale Kindergarten offers both Government funded Kindergarten programs and non funded Pre-Kindergarten groups for younger children.

Groups for 2020 will attend as follows:

Kindergarten group 1 will attend Monday and Wednesday 8am - 3:30pm.

Kindergarten groups 2 will attend Tuesday and Thursday 8am - 3:30pm.

Pre-Kindergarten groups only attend on Wednesdays from 8.45am - 12.45pm.

Learning at Bairnsdale Kindergarten is play based.
Our learning Philosophy follows the guidelines from the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the Early Years learning Framework for Australia.
Both of which promote high quality learning standards for all children.

Learning outcomes for children will include:

1. Children have a strong sense of identity

2. Children are connected with and contribute to their world

3. Children have a strong sense of well being

4. Children are confident and involved learners

5. Children are effective communicators
