Re Gardam
Re teaches both the Kookaburra and Koala children. Re is an early childhood teacher, nominated supervisor and educational leader at Bairnsdale Kindergarten. Re has been working within the early childhood field for over 15 years but has over 23 years’ experience working with a mix of early childhood and primary school aged children, in a variety of roles. Re holds a Masters of Education, Bachelor of Teaching and Diploma in Children’s Services. Re joined the Bairnsdale Kindergarten team in 2021.
Renee Grant
Renee teaches both the Joey and Possum Pre-Kindergarten groups. She has been working in the early childhood field for 24 years with a variety of roles including long day care, tertiary education, community development, and kindergartens. Renee holds both a Diploma of Community Services (Child Care) and a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies. After several years working in a relief capacity, Renee joined the Bairnsdale Kindergarten team in a permanent role in 2018.
Bree Ivers
Bree teaches the Koala kindergarten group with Re and the Possum pre-kinder group with Renee as well as being an educator in the Kookaburra group. Bree joined Bairnsdale kindergarten in Jan 2023 and has been working in the early childhood field for over 10 years with experience in both long day care settings and as a kindergarten inclusion support educator in sessional kindergartens. Bree is currently undertaking her final year of a Bachelor of Education.
Shelby Gray
Shelby is an educator in both the Kookaburra and Koala groups. She holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Shelby has worked in a variety of local childcare and Kindergarten centres. Shelby joined Bairnsdale Kindergarten in 2021.
Felicity Hargreaves
Felicity is an educator in both the Kookaburra and Koala groups. She has worked in early childhood for over 10 years, holding a Diploma in Children’s Services. Felicity joined the Bairnsdale Kindergarten team in 2018.
Helen Scott
Helen is an educator with the Joey and Possum groups and has been working in the early childhood field for 22 years. She holds a Diploma in Children’s Services and joined the Bairnsdale Kindergarten team in 2021.
Julie Kelly
Julie is an educator with both possums and joeys groups, working as an educator in the possums team and as a kindergarten inclusion support educator with the joeys team. Julie has been working in early childhood for 6 years and holds a diploma of early childhood education.
Jody Connelly
Jody is an educator with the Joey children. Jody joined Bairnsdale Kindergarten team in 2022 working as a kindergarten inclusion support educator within the kookaburra group. Jody holds a certificate 3 and has been working with children for over 20 years.

Mal Stephenson
Mal is an educator with both the Joey and Possum groups. She holds a Diploma in Children’s Services. Mal previously worked as a nurse, before a career change into early childhood education where she spent 10 years at her previous Kindergarten. Mal joined the Bairnsdale Kindergarten team in 2021.
Helen Wigg
Mrs Wigg has spent the past 30 plus years educating and supporting many Kindergarten children. She is an educator in the Koala group and holds a Certificate 3 in Children’s Services.
